1. Internship Activity Plan
I had the
pleasure of working in Neusol head office which is located in Dubai, UAE. Being
the head office of the organization the office is center of all the activities
and decision making. This provided more learning opportunities for me during my
internship. I observed and experienced the professional environment and working
of different departments of the organization.
internship started on 19th of November and finished on 21st
of December even though this internship pass for only one month but I learnt a
lot during this time and it was a very productive one month of my life.
I work in Human Resource Department. Actually working in this department proved
to be very fruitful as this was the department where I was exposed to operation
and working of the task which are related to my studies.
resources management is a critical element in the welfare of employees in any
business, no matter how small. HR responsibilities include benefits, recruitment,
layoffs and employee training. I got to see multiple HR processes being implemented
for example payroll and employee appraisals. I also witnessed the recruitment
process from advertisement to shortlisting of candidate to final selection.

A. Operations of Human Resource Department
The human resources department strategically manage people
and business resources. This includes managing recruiting and hiring employees,
coordinating employee benefits and suggesting employee training and development

professionals work together to develop employees’ skills. For example, HR
professionals advise managers and supervisors how to assign employees to
different roles in the organization, thereby helping the organization adapt
successfully to its environment.

The human resource management team recruits potential
employees, oversees the hiring process like security check which is a
requirement for Ministry of Interior in UAE to get the working visa, and
provides new employee orientation. HR department advertise job postings, source
candidates, shortlist CVs, conduct preliminary interviews and coordinate hiring
efforts with managers responsible for making the final selection of candidates.
Employee relationship is one of the crucial functions of
human resource management, as employees are the pillars of any organization. It
is in good of the company itself to maintain good employee relations as it
impact employee performance and have the ability to influence behaviors and

Well-planned employee relations will promote a healthy and balanced relation

employee’s skills, achievements and growth, or lack thereof. Companies use
performance appraisals to give employees big-picture feedback on their work and
to justify pay increases and bonuses, as well as termination decisions.
Performance appraisals also help employees and their
managers create a plan for employee development through additional training and
increased responsibilities, as well as to identify shortcomings the employee
could work to resolve.
Training and Development
Neusol is a software solution provider which is a rapidly
changing sector, so employees must be trained to adopt to the changing
technologies. Staff must be provided with tools for their success which, in
many cases, means giving new staff extensive induction training to help them
move to a new organizational culture.
Many human resources
departments provide leadership training and professional development.
Leadership training may require new hiring and promotion of supervisors and
managers on topics such as performance management and how to deal with staff
relations issues at management level.
