Micronutrients, on the other side are required in smaller quantities and they are composed of minerals and vitamins. All this nutrients must be in a balance for the body to function properly. But why are they so important?These seven nutrients have an enormous impact on our daily diet and health issues. Carbohydrates provide energy for the body and that way our metabolism can perform reactions and regain stability. They are needed brain and organs function, for physical activity, for intestinal health and waste elimination. Proteins are vital in the maintenance of body tissue, hair, skin, muscles and organs which are all made of this nutrition.

Fat maintains your body temperature, provides energy and absorbed vitamins. Also good fats protect the heart and keep the body healthy. Fiber is important to weight management, digestion, heart’s health, cancer prevention and cholesterol maintenance. Vitamins are another nutrient needed. These organic compounds are essential for normal growth and are necessary for our diet because they cannot be synthesized by the body.As mentioned above which is the enormous impact of nutrition, there are also a series of health problems that come from lack of proper nutrition.

Some of these common illnesses are: depression, eating disorders, anemia, beriberi, diabetes, tooth decay, heart disease and stroke, osteoporosis and in some critic cases leading even to some cancers. That is why we should be very careful in the way we eat and the proper nutrition we consume every day.All in all, nutrition is a very important part of our diet and wellbeing.
